Darlin’s StoryI was such a cute puppy they named me Darlin. One day when I was older, they brought me to a shelter, dropped me off, and drove away. I didn't do anything wrong - I just grew up. I'm still Darlin -- all I need now is a new home.

Russell & Amy's Story
"On our way out of the Reston Dog Fiesta we happened to run into K9 Lifesavers. We were looking to adopt another Boxer, when we ran into Russell (AKA Buster) and Amy (AKA Murphy). After spending some time with Buster and Murphy and the helpful K9 Lifesaver staff, we decided that we had to adopt them both. We were also very impressed with the K9 Lifesaver staff as they bent over backwards (at the end of a very long and very hot day) to make our adoption smooth and painless.
Although I never thought we would be a three dog family, we really enjoy our new additions. Buster is that crazy dog you always hear about; he always comes up with another way to make you shake your head whether it is drinking out of the toilet, jumping into the shower (surprise), or peeing in clean laundry baskets – all part of his charm (so he thinks). Murphy is a quiet lady who is fiercely loyal and enjoys time with her tennis ball.
All and all we couldn’t be happier and appreciate the continued support from the K9 Lifesaver staff."
